The Seminole County Prayer Breakfast has been faithfully held since the first event that took place on January 22, 1992 at the Sanford Civic Center located in Sanford, Florida.  The founders listed above modeled the prayer breakfast after the Mayors' Prayer Breakfast which brought together civic leaders in Orange County, Florida to pray for their government and proclaim the gospel message.  It is done in the tradition of the Governor's Prayer Breakfast and the Presidential Prayer Breakfast.  Over time, along with praying for our government, we've extended the prayer coverage to include businesses, community and families.  Over the years we've been blessed by the testimonies of some Godly guest speakers, all of which you can find on this website.  Our goal is to continue the tradition and statement of purpose established by the founders of this community event and to be a blessing to Seminole County.  Our thanks go out to all past, present, and future sponsors and individuals who helped make this event possible.
