Barry is the third generation President of Meguiar’s Car Wax, the top selling car wax in America and in countries around the world. He’s also the Founder/President of IgniteAmerica, a ministry focused on igniting Cristians to IgniteAmerica with Revival, one person at a time. 

His television show, Car Crazy, ran for 18 years and aired on Discovery channel globally and his Ignite Your Life television shows air on Christian television networks in the U.S. He’s also heard daily on over 900 Christian radio stations with his ‘Ignite with Barry Meguiar’ features, his Ignite podcast’s launch this month, and his book, Ignite Your Life, is set to be released this fall.

Barry has been honored as ‘Layman of the Year’ by Pt. Loma Nazarene University and the General Council of the Assemblies of God, served on the Assemblies World Missions Board, Seminary Board and led Lay Ministries for the Assemblies. He’s also been honored with the National Religious Broadcasters ‘Billy Graham’ Award’ and Moody Bible’s ‘1886 Legacy Award’. 

What makes Barry most unique is that he’s been sharing his faith every day for almost 50 years. He quickly moved from structured presentations that he felt were more like sales presentations, he was inspired by Jesus words that they will know that you’re my disciple by your love and the verse from Luke 12:12 that the Holy Spirit will give you the words to say when you need them. That took all the pressure off, and he was off to the races . . . loving on people!

His daily experiences and stories of moving everyone, every day, closer to Jesus are life transforming. From the perspective that faith sharing is a difficult obligation that brings persecution, Barry ignites your life with the reality that it’s actually the most fun thing to do in life and turns every day into an adventure. More importantly, it’s the only thing in our lives that we will celebrate in Heaven. When you are in Heaven, the only thing that will matter is how many people are in Heaven because of your influence!
